Malaysian passport holders require an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to enter Sri Lanka, applied for online at eta.gov.lk before departure. Golden Tropics Travel will provide guidance on the application process.

How much deposit is required and when is the balance due?

Accepted Answer

A deposit of 30% of the total tour price is required at time of booking to secure your seat. The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 45 days before the departure date. Bookings made within 45 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking.

What is the cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Cancellations more than 45 days before departure: deposit is non-refundable. 30–44 days: 50% of total price. 15–29 days: 75% of total price. 0–14 days or no-show: 100% of total price forfeited. All cancellations must be made in writing to Golden Tropics Travel.

Is this departure guaranteed?

Accepted Answer

Departures are subject to minimum group size. Golden Tropics Travel will confirm guaranteed departure status at least 21 days before the scheduled date. If a tour is cancelled due to insufficient bookings, a full refund is provided or you may transfer to another available departure.
