Disney Adventure from Singapore: A Family Guide
Golden Tropics Travel · Updated

Disney Adventure is Disney Cruise Line's ship based in Singapore, and the easiest way for Malaysian families to take a Disney cruise without a long-haul flight. Here is what to know before you book.
Where it sails and for how long
Sailings start and end at Marina Bay Cruise Centre in Singapore and last three or four nights. Most are days at sea, so the ship itself is the destination; some sailings also call at Langkawi.
From Malaysia you can fly, drive or take the train to Singapore. Many families arrive the day before to keep embarkation day relaxed.
Themed areas on board
The ship is divided into themed areas inspired by Disney, Pixar and Marvel stories. Ask us for the latest deck plans and attractions for your sailing, as the cruise line may update them.
- Disney Imagination Garden, the ship's open-air centre for shows and character moments
- Disney Discovery Reef, with shops and lounges inspired by Disney's ocean stories
- San Fransokyo Street, themed on Big Hero 6, with dining, games and shopping
- Marvel Landing, with Marvel attractions including the Ironcycle Test Run roller coaster
- Toy Story Place, a family water play area themed on Toy Story
- Wayfinder Bay, a Moana-inspired pool and dining area
- Town Square, with restaurants and entertainment inspired by classic Disney films
Kids' clubs by age
Clubs are grouped by age so children spend time with others at a similar stage. Opening hours, age rules and any charges are set by Disney Cruise Line.
- It's a Small World Nursery for babies and toddlers (booked separately, with a charge)
- Disney's Oceaneer Club for children aged 3 to 12
- Edge for tweens aged 11 to 14
- Vibe for teens aged 14 to 17
Choosing a family cabin
Disney cabins are designed with families in mind, and many sleep three to five guests. Fares are per person and depend on how many people share the cabin, so tell us everyone's ages when you enquire.
An inside cabin keeps the cost down if you plan to spend the day around the ship. An oceanview cabin adds natural light, and a verandah cabin gives you private outdoor space for nap times and quiet evenings.
Dining and meeting characters
Disney Cruise Line uses rotational dining: your family moves to a different main restaurant each night, and your serving team moves with you. Quick-service food and a buffet are available during the day.
Character meet-and-greets, deck parties and Broadway-style shows are part of the cruise. The daily schedule on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app shows when and where they happen.
Before you sail
- Every guest, including babies, needs their own passport valid for at least six months.
- Complete the SG Arrival Card online before you arrive in Singapore.
- Infants must meet Disney Cruise Line's minimum sailing age; tell us your baby's date of birth when you enquire.
- Complete online check-in and choose your port arrival time as soon as your booking allows.
- Pack swimwear, sunscreen, medicines and a change of clothes in a day bag, as main luggage can take a few hours to reach your cabin.
